It's true.

There are ripe loquats in the neighborhood, and Monica and I gorged ourselves on many today. Here are photos. Once there are enough for trade, we'll be able to break the wintry spell of the citrus, which is great in its own right. But who isn't ready for loquats, though?

This is what they look like once they're ripe-- this fuzzy peach-like skin and sour flesh.

Loquats (and Girl Scout 'Trefoil' Cookies).

Monica with loquats in hand.

The fruits look awesome. I enjoy picking (and gorging on) Indian Mangoes from our backyard as well.

Nice to meet you.
Auckland is warm.
It seems to be ..loquat.. delicious. become complete [tsubuno]
It is ..assortment.. fashionable of the cookie and.
The loquat is presented to the midyear present (present in summer) etc. with the fruit at the early summer in Japan.
However, ・・・・・ that cannot be eaten easily expensively (^_^;) has the tree of the loquat in aunt's house in the childhood and has memories that are caught and eat.

It's nice to be reminded of the loquats that grew in my grandma's yard in Vallejo when I was a little kid.
Transplanted to Washington since the age of 12, I'd almost forgotten them.
It's not a fruit you see here at any market.

I love to pick wild berries when I am flyfishing in Northern Michigan. It is one of my favorite ways to pass the time. I often find wild blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Check out my blog on all things flyfishing:
