Stay Tuned

This is going to be a spring filled with collaborations on many levels, and I'm looking forward to each of them. For starters, here are two confirmed events:

On Saturday, 14 March, I will be part of a panel discussion sponsored by the San Francisco Anarchist Bookfair which addresses innovative ways to survive the economic downturn.

Save the Date: Sunday, 7 June: Forage Oakland will participate in a community event held at the Berkeley Art Museum, which addresses participatory community activism at the grassroots level. Stay tuned for more details, please.

I am trying to pick some edible flowers for a cake I'm making this weekend. Any soft petal, clean (no spraying) flowers will do. Any suggestions for an area in our vicinity to find a handful or two? Violets, etc. Even the clover flowers would probably be OK, they are safe. Just up in an area with no dogs!

Thank you!

Here in Maui we are organizing a foundation to harvest all the lovely fruits, vegetables and coconuts that grow in people's yards that otherwise would go to waste, for the food bank.

You mean Community Day: Localize?! I really like the forestproject.net exhibit as part of Human/Nature Artists Respond to a Changing Planet.
